I love that you mixed things up and made Jared a ghoul--not traditionally the most sexy of creatures, but one that definitely worked in this! I was a bit worried for Jensen's safety at first, but then Jared actually liked him and everything became super adorable. Glad that Jensen noticed the lack of heartbeat too! I always wondered about that one, in all the urban fantasy romance stories, so it pleased me that Jensen figured it out early!
