Haha, yes, it's really hard to go too dark for a fic for me :D

I really loved this, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since it posted. Poor Sam, and his need to atone which led to such a horrific sacrifice. This was perfectly dark and awesome, and I'll happily read an expanded version if you post it!
