I absolutely knew the Book was a bad thing, because when has Sam ever not been lead astray by his desire to save Dean? Something powerful whispering 'I'm going to help' in his ear has never been anything good--I was *so* relieved that I was wrong and this time, it was! I wish that Show would resolve the Mark in this way--hell, even barely close to this would make me very happy. :)
