\o/ I'm so happy you enjoyed this fic, I truly am! When I first saw your prompt of 'we're all monsters here' I knew that was the prompt I wanted to explore and the pairing choice seemed like a natural fit.
I did go quite dark for me, and some of the imagery was horror based, but what I really wanted was Sam to take control and be centre stage; to see him treading a ominous line to save his brother, and it's great to hear that that feel of dread and uncertainly came through to you.
Given the subject matter, I wanted the ending to be sort of like a readers choice; where they either both survived, or maybe they didn't.
