The thing about Heaven was that he didn’t get to pick which memories he was allowed to relive and which were buried and forgotten. Shaping his life into a happy one meant carving away huge chunks, separating out whole months and years that had to go into the fire.
I've always found SPN's version of Heaven creepy, and this perfectly sums up why.
