Your Rufus is so spot on, it's awesome. I love the pain, the doubt that still informs his character and actions, and the way you have him and Bobby interact. There's a wonderful feel to the way that Rufus knows that his heaven isn't real/complete without the hard bits, but that there's no fast/easy resolution, just a slight crack open in his resolve. It feels nuanced and really thoughtful. Great job.
