I'm so glad you found it creepy! (sorry) I had to shorten it a lot, and wasn't sure the creepiness still crept! As for Bela's expressions - it's so weird, I remembered her as having nearly none, but I went back to look for this fic, and for me - I truly don't get how a bunch of super perceptive detective hunters miss it! I mean, here is so much written on her face, she flinches, she looks scared - how are these people missing it?! OK, I'm done for now.
